I’m a multidisciplinary graphic designer, illustrator and animator based in Brixton. My practice currently centres around designing for social good. In 2019, I worked on ‘Amplified’, a project led by the charity YUAF (young urban Arts Foundation) in which I helped realise and develop a young person’s creative voice through a collaborative animation. In February this year, I produced a series of illustrations for Bee Midtown’s promotional material, a BID (Business Improvement District) who’s mission statement on bringing together businesses in Clerkenwell and Holborn on social and environmental sustainability goals such as green roofs and cycle lanes. My illustration reflected some of the BID’s core values, using anthropomorphic cartoon characters that symbolised different features of the Midtown Clerkenwell and Holborn area. Other social sustainability projects include a proposal for Camden Town Unlimited titled ‘Camden Voices’, an interactive website and a publication that proposes a visually engaging way of spotlighting Camden High Street traders and shop owners’ voices with the goal of involving community members in the BID’s conversations about sustainable development and pedestrianisation.
